Englewood Housing Authority will be opening their section 8 waiting lists for two days this April. You will need to apply in person April 2 or 3 from 8:30 until 4:00pm. Be sure you know the social security numbers of every member in your household. Here is their contact information:

Thanks for posting about this. I am a little frustrated, though, because I called them this morning and they told me that there had been no waiting list opened at all, since last April of 2007. So to hear that it just happened this month, but that they did not acknowledge that to me, is frustrating.
I will continue to check back here for updates and announcements; this has been most helpful. I gained more information from your blog than I did speaking for more than half an hour with the Housing Authority staff themselves.
